Well I’ve obviously started a blog. Goal #1...CHECK! And yesterday, I sold my bike rack. Goal #2...CHECK. I love rapid progress! Only 99 more to go...
In stalking a friend’s facebook page, I came upon her list of 101 things to accomplish in 1,001 days. As I started reading her ideas, I was intrigued. What would my 101 things be? 101 things. It can’t be THAT hard to come up with 101 things I want to do in the next 2.5ish years, right? I mean, I tend to be a creature of habit and routine, which means there is a long list of things I haven’t done. I was also directed to the website www.dayzeroproject.com where I saw many others who had started their lists of things to accomplish.
I decided to start a list. I wrote and I wrote. I stopped...I imagined...I dreamed...and I wrote some more. Surely, I must be at 101 things by now. 57. Just over halfway. But I don’t know what else I want to do! I don’t know where my life will take me and if I’ll be able to accomplish my list. (And here’s my perfectionist side coming out. If I’m not certain I’ll succeed, I don’t want to try.) Sarah...this is the point. Step out of your comfort zone and dream...be bold...try something new.
And so I began. I looked at other people’s lists for ideas. I tried to be realistic in that I’ll actually do it. (No, nothing Yankee or Packer related can be found on my list.) I tried to be bold and step out of my comfort zone. And I want to have fun doing each of them, whether it’s practical or not.
So here’s my list. I have until August 4, 2013 to accomplish all 101 of them. Some will be easy...some will be tough...but all will be memorable!
